Kebabish, the Hut's long anticpated second album, is the culmination of a year's gigging and rehearsing, and documents the second generation of Simon Katan's algorithmic compositions. Intermingling with the usual mixture of junk, toys, and electronics, are more tightly controlled sound worlds of camp ligetish keyboards, kazoo antics, and tin can percussion. The album which was recorded at Trinity College Studios in April 2007 with engineering by Oliver Keen, features an extended line-up of Ed Anderton, Cimeon Ellerton, Simon Katan, Ryo Ikeshiro, Kate Ryder, Sarah Scutt, Tom Shelton, Yukkiko Shinohara, and Reynaldo Young. Postproduction was by Tom Shelton.
